Operation Theatres : Alchemist Hospital has three modern operation theatres that are equipped with anesthesia machines of international standards, cold operating lights, advanced air filtering system, central gases and suction, image intensifier, electrosurgical units and endoscopic equipments. The theatres are staffed by an experienced team of anesthesiologists, technicians and nurses and follow strict protocols for infection control. These ensure high standards of patient safety during and after surgery.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) : Alchemist Hospital has 18 bed Intensive Care Unit. The Intensive Care Unit has sophisticated equipments for continuous intensive monitoring of critical patients backed by trained intensivists to look after the patients.

The lab is dedicated to ensure Quality assurance is applied in all lab processes and is intended to ensure reliable test results with necessary degree of precision & accuracy.

We have a fully automated laboratory performing tests in sub departments of Biochemistry, Hematology, Clinical Pathology, Cytopathology , Microbiology and Serology, under guidance of full time Pathologist and Microbiologist. Competent staff is available 24x7 to process the test samples as per standard operating procedures and guidelines . The staff is closely monitored, reviewed and trained to ensure consistency in the service standards. To ensure good quality assurance, regular internal controls are put to check all tests systems are functioning at their best. The laboratory participates in the Periodic External Quality Assurance schemes from Institutions that assess us as per national and International standards.

Support Services

Blood Bank: The Blood Bank of Alchemist provides round the clock blood support and assures the supply of safe & quality blood to the patients. Standards in techniques and quality control are meticulously maintained as laid down in the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, by the regulatory authority, Directors Drug Controller (India), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India to quality in all facets of Transfusion Services.

Ambulance: Three ambulances, outfitted with advanced life saving equipment, are available round the clock. An ambulance is always accompanied by a specialized nurse. A doctor also accompanies the ambulance if the medical condition of the patient so demands

Pharmacy: Alchemist Hospital has its Own Pharmacy i.e. Alchemist Pharmacy. The pharmacy is located on the ground floor, of the hospital, and can be utilized to obtain prescribed drugs and over-the-counter medications. The services are available 24X7.

Food Services: The dieticians after meeting the patients prescribe the diet of the patient according to the therapeutic requirement. The food is prepared in a hygienic and clean way as per the meal timings and portioned in sterilized crockery's and cutleries before tasted for quality, taste, quantity and presentation. Every patient trays are checked according to the diet prescribed before being send to the patients rooms. Patient s on liquid diets are given feeds on 2 hrly basis.

CSSD: Our Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) is one of the most sophisticated, technically advanced world class department in North India, having 8XL-STERI VAC for ETO and STERIS-AMSCO Century for steam sterilization. CSSD has demarcated separate zones i.e. Dirty zone, Clean Zone, EO Zone, Sterile Zone and Distribution Zone.
