Manipal Hospital, Bangalore are among the most

Dr. Jaya Bhat, DGO, MD, MRCOG , FRCOG currently serves as
the head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology department. She has had a
long association with the Manipal group – right from being a student
here to teaching at KMC, Manipal and Mangalore between 1975 and 77.
She was amongst the first doctors to join the hospital in 1991, set
up the OBG department and added the post graduate program. She has
also had a long stint in prestigious hospitals in UK and USA.
Dr. Prathima Radhakrishnan, MRCOG, DIP (HA & OBG),
FELLOWSHIP IN FETAL MEDICINE (UK) is a Consultant in Fetal Medicine
in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Manipal Hospital.
She obtained her MBBS from Government Medical College, Nagpur and
completed her training in OB & GYN from UK with a certificate in
MRCOG. In addition, she has done a diploma in Obstretic Ultrasound
from Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in UK. Dr.
Prathima has done a fellowship in Fetal Medicine for two years in
Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine with professor
Kypros Nicolaides, who is a pioneer in the field. Her hobbies
include classical dancing and listening to music.
Dr. Meena Muthiah is an Associate Consultant in the
department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has worked as
Registrar and Specialist in the department after having completed
her DNB course.
